Joe Schulte joined the board in early 2019 and is currently is serving as Secretary for the Board.
Joe earned a Bachelor and Masters Degrees from St. Louis University. Joe is a veteran who served in the
Army from 1966 – 1968 including a tour in Vietnam all of 1967. After his time in the military, Joe worked
for several large corporations, McDonnell Aircraft and Monsanto in St. Louis. After leaving Monsanto,
he worked four years in New York City for Sperry & Hutchinson.
Following this, he got his first CFO position in 1981 with Starcraft Corporation in Indiana. Joe later held a CFO position with a company in upstate New York. He and his family moved to Logan in 1995 and took a job with Saddleman Corporation as CFO. He was President of that company when it was sold in 2009.
Joe and his wife Anita have shared their 53 year marriage with many well-loved dogs and cats. And, of course, their daughter, Whitney has brought home many rescue animals to foster during her association with CHS.
