Shawn Milne is the Director of Economic Development & Intergovernmental Affairs at the Bear River Association of Governments, a role he has held since January 2023. Alongside his current role, Shawn operates as a Freelance Consultant with Kairos Advisors, where he applies his skills in marketing and public affairs to assist various clients in navigating the complexities of state and local governance. Additionally, he proudly serves as the President of the Cache Humane Society Board, where he advocates for animal welfare and works to improve the lives of pets in the region.
Shawn’s extensive background in public service includes eight years as a County Commissioner for Tooele County, as well as various roles in local government that have honed his leadership skills. He has a strong track record in nonprofit management, having contributed to organizations that focus on community engagement and support. Outside of his professional endeavors, Shawn is a devoted dog owner, sharing his life with two beloved dogs.
