Lisa Nish grew up with a variety of cats and dogs. She is the butler for two cats, both former foster kittens, and has been involved in the Cache Humane Foster Program for the last seven years.
Lisa currently teaches in the Cache County School District and is a member of the School Community Council. She has taught in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, Nevada, and has been a student teacher mentor, peer tutor mentor, and department chair. She has encouraged animal shelter education by having presenters from Cache Humane come to her classes and discuss the volunteer and summer youth programs with her students. Educating others on the importance of no-kill shelters and the services they provide is a top priority and she is excited to serve on the board.
