Cache Humane Society’s rescue efforts have helped over 240 animals this year.
Animals come to us in a few different ways. Most of our loveable cats and dogs come to us through families in Cache Valley that can no longer care for their pets. A few wayward dogs come to us as Animal Control strays, and a lot of our animals come to us as transfers from our shelter partners.
With shelters across the country fuller than ever, we love to help alleviate some of the pressure. We regularly fly in dogs from overcrowded shelters through our partnership with Dog Is My Copilot. Our Dog Staff has even driven as far as New Mexico to take in a bunch of excited dogs! This year we have rescued over 240 animals from other shelters.
