Cache Humane Society is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. Our mission focuses on reducing pet homelessness through education, advocacy, and accessible veterinary services, while inspiring our community to champion compassionate animal welfare.
For the past nine years, Stacey Frisk has served as our Executive Director, focusing on enhancing the quality of care for shelter pets and saving even more lives. Under her leadership, we expanded our affordable Community Spay/Neuter & Vaccination Clinic and developed youth education programs designed to nurture the next generation of compassionate pet owners and animal welfare professionals. “The board of directors thanks Stacey for her years of service,” said Board Chair Shawn Milne, “She has done a superb job leading the organization. During her tenure she oversaw a significant increase in demand for services, built alliances with important stakeholders, and successfully increased funding, all while continuing the core mission of the nonprofit organization and creating one of the best run facilities of its kind within Utah. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Stacey as she shifts her focus to family and community commitments. ”
We are thrilled to announce that Bri Smith will be stepping into the role of Interim Executive Director. Bri is an exceptional leader, deeply committed to our mission, and we are confident she will continue to enhance Cache Humane Society’s impact in saving lives and serving our community. She began her journey with us as a caregiver and adoption coordinator in our Kitty Cabana while completing her Animal Science degree at Utah State University. After graduating, Bri took on leadership of our cat care team and earned a professional certificate in Animal Shelter Management. She also expanded our foster program, saving even more lives. As our Operations Director for the past five years, Bri has successfully guided an expanding team through numerous challenges and achievements. We are excited to see her visionary leadership propel Cache Humane Society into its next chapter.
